The Impressionist paintings that we love now weren't famous at first .

However , one special painting by Monet opended the Impressionist period.

This special painting is favorite piece of artwork, Monet's 'Impression, Sunrise'.

1. The piece of artwork that was criticized

Do you know Monet's 'Impression, Sunrise' was highly criticized before?

Louis Lerov a critic, even said ' The wallpaper on the wall looks much more complete.'

Others also equally criticized it as a poor artwork.

2. A painting that represents Impressionism

Although 'Impression, Sunrise' was criticized at first, now it has become representative of the

Impressionists and is loved by many people. Because it is a perfect Impressionist artwork that

reflects the emotions inside.

3. Artwork that makes use of the characteristics of color

Impressionist painters, including Monet, usually used primary colors instead of black and grey.

In this way, Monet's 'Impression, Sunrise' is great artwork because it made dark atmosphere with

bright colors.

For the reasons, my faorite piece of artwork is Monet's 'Impression, Sunrise'.

If you saw 'Impression, Sunrise', you could feel special of impressionist paintings.
