No one can deny that K-pop is becoming more and more popular worldwide. Ever since BTS became one of the biggest bands in the world, there has definitely been a surge of popularity for 'K-pop'. There have been many groups to follow in these footsteps, but needless to say, I'VE have jumped out as the most popular and successful group to continue the K-pop phenomenon. 

With members such as Jang Won Young, and An Yoojin, who already gained popularity through auditioning programs and successfully landed a spot in the debut group - IZone, I'VE instantly became huge with their first single, "Eleven". To follow, all of I'VE's three albums have been hits, they have moved fans hearts and it is not an understatement to say that they have reached 'A-class' among the idols.

I'VE competing with Le Sserafim and New Jeans for the K-pop rookie of the year award. However, I'VE seems to be the strongest contender for the award. Not only are all of their albums attracting fans' attention, their latest single, "After Like", is unlike any other concept shown by idols recently. The song sampled foreign songs and incorporated it in a way that the song gives vibes of 2010s. This was received particularly well among the younger fan base, since retro moods and styles are coming back. Now that the year is coming to an end, many fans are left to wonder if they will the best newcomer of the year at various end of year music awards.

Now that the K-pop scene attracts many fans around the world, we are left to wonder what the future holds for upcoming musicians. These new generation groups, I'VE, New Jeans and Le Sserafim and many other talented groups, have indeed brought fresh vibes into the K-pop scene. It is exciting to see a part of Korean culture becoming widespread throughout the world and makes us look forwards to what more surprising and original artists will appear to sweep us off our feet, yet again.
