NE Times Çлý ±âÀÚ´ÜÀÇ »ý»ýÇÑ ±â»ç¸¦ Àо¼¼¿ä.
Technology has been developing for decades rapidly. Many parts of our lives improved very much thanks to it, but there aren¡¯t only bright sides. There are some major problems that we have to face because of the high-speed development of technology. Here are three big problems:
Firstly, many people are getting addicted
to digital devices and social media networks, especially people under the age
of 30. As a result, they cannot concentrate on their schoolwork and their
future. Also, it can bring health problems such as eye strain and sleep
disturbances. In addition, many people watch their smartphones and use
earphones while walking, which can lead to serious accidents. To solve this
problem, parents of the Z generation should actively step into this problem and
let their children use smartphones in a safe, proper way.
The second major problem is ¡®privacy
concerns¡¯. Many people enter their private information (name, address, phone
number, email account, password, health info, fingerprint, etc.) on the
internet or digital devices for their convenience. However, these information
can be leaked because of vulnerable security. If this happens, it can lead to
identity theft and hacking. You should be careful of letting other people know your
private information, and only tell them to people can companies that you can
100% trust.
The last issue is about information that we
get from networks. When ¡®information overload¡¯ happens, it will be very
difficult to distinguish between true and false information. Then, people will
be vulnerable to false information and fake news, which makes people not to be
able to know the truth. For example, when people read fake news about stocks,
they might invest in the wrong place and lose a huge amount of money. I think
that the government should make a fact-checking team, track fake news, and
punish companies that make fake news strictly so that the same situation
doesn¡¯t occur again.
Technology itself cannot bring these
serious problems, which means that we humans made these problems and should
solve these issues. To solve these problems, we shouldn¡¯t rely too much on
technology first thing. The more we rely on technology, the more the impact of
technology grows in our lives. Also, we should stay awake and prepare for these
problems, because even though it looks like they aren¡¯t very harmful, it is
already and will occur damage in our lives more and more as technology
develops.
