<Project: Consult ChatGPT About a Problem>

    ChatGPT is a hot potato. It surprises the users with remarkable answers to their curiosity or worries. At the same time, people are reluctant to accept this fast advancement of A.I., fearing it might threat the long-held lifestyles of humans.

    ‘Why not try consulting ChatGPT about my own problem?’ From this idea, I came up with a project.

    First of all, I asked ChatGPT who it thinks it is. The reply came, “I am not a creature, but an A.I. language model designed to assist with various tasks.” The speed of reply was simply impressive.

    Next, I asked ChatGPT how to make homework more fun. Here are the tips I received.

1) Gamify the process – Turn homework into a game. Use a reward system or timer to make your boring homework exciting!

2) Change your environment – Try working outside, or you could even listen to your favorite music!

3) Add some creativity: You could create a comic strip or mind-map to help you understand the material better!

    After that, I spent some time experimenting ChatGPT’s advice. I played a board game about a grammar concept that I had struggled on. The game was both enjoyable and effective.

    I also took a walk outside to my favorite cafe. I did a few homeworks there and even memorized some vocabularies on the swing. The environment around me made me more refreshed than when I was in my house doing boring tasks.

    Last of all, I wrote a brief introduction about a novel in the form of an article. This creative task definitely beat the dull questions that my teacher had printed out.

In conclusion, ChatGPT’s suggestions were much more helpful than I thought. To be honest, they could be more useful than a regular grown-up’s advice. ChatGPT’s answers were creative and organized. However, this A.I. couldn’t really understand my feelings, nor give me emotional support. Sometimes, that is all I seek from someone’s advice.

    Back to the beginning paragraph, ‘Is ChatGPT a threat to humans?’ My answer based on the project is that we do not have to be terrified of this A.I. It is rather very helpful to maximize human’s clever activities. So if you still have some struggles in your mind, download ChatGPT and type it in!
