Nowadays, some people argue that coding is becoming obsolete. However, this claim is far from accurate. To begin with, coding is the process of giving instructions to computers through programming languages such as Python and Java. It is the foundation of modern technology and is used to develop websites, applications, video games, and even advanced AI systems.

Coding offers numerous benefits. First, it enhances problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning. It also creates diverse career opportunities across many industries while encouraging creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. Furthermore, coding enables people to automate repetitive tasks and develop a deeper understanding of how technology works in everyday life.

Despite these advantages, some individuals believe coding is losing its importance because artificial intelligence can now generate code, certain programming jobs are changing, and learning to code can be challenging. Nevertheless, these arguments overlook several important realities. AI still relies heavily on human guidance, supervision, and decision-making. In addition, coding develops analytical thinking skills that remain valuable in both technical and non-technical professions.

As technology continues to advance rapidly, the demand for digital literacy and computational skills is steadily increasing. Moreover, coding knowledge is useful beyond software engineering careers. Fields such as business, marketing, healthcare, education, finance, and scientific research increasingly depend on technology and data-driven systems.
