Look at that! A rabbit is hopping. Rabbits are cute animals, but they also have many interesting traits. There are many kinds of rabbits, and today I will tell you five facts about them.

First, rabbits can turn their ears in different directions to hear better. Second, rabbits thump their feet when they are scared.

Third, rabbits do not only eat carrots. They also eat a lot of hay and grass. Fourth, they can hop very fast to escape from wild animals when they are being chased.

Last, some rabbits and hares, like the Snowshoe Hare, change their color to hide in the snow. Isn’t that cool? Rabbits are more amazing than we think. Now you know five interesting facts about them!
