  • The Solutions of Regional Disparity

Nowadays, most people live in urban areas like Seoul instead of rural areas. As a result, prices of houses in cities increased by 9.6%, whereas the ones in the countryside decreased by 1.7% for 3 months. Like this, the unbalance between the urban and the rural is becoming worse and worse even globally. About this, experts around the world suggest different solutions. 

  Among the solutions, one of the most typical is supporting infrastructure of the countryside. Some of the examples are building roads and improving the communication system. Other than this, encouraging academies, factories, and supermarkets to be built or started in the countryside could convince people to live there. 

  Another solution for the development of the countryside could be building more houses in the areas. Even if the infrastructure necessary for the development is crucial, it is no use if there are no houses to live in. Also, the buildings may be popular if they are modern or related with the charicteristic of the region. 

  Like this, there are many ways to solve the problem of the regional disparity around the globe. Although the solutions are all difficult to do, it can help solve one of the most serious problems today.
