- Why Minors Shouldn't Vote

Korea's 21st president will be voted in June 3th, Tuesday. There are 8 candidate named Lee Jae-myung, Kim Moon-soo, Lee Jun-seok, Kwon Young-guk, Hwang Kyo-ahn, and Song Jin-ho. However, you have probably thought at least once about why minors cannot participate in voting. There are some reasons why minors can't vote.
First of all, minors can not participate in voting seriously. Minor's emotions are not completely developed yet. So, they can not accept reality and share who they vote on SNS illegally.
Secondly, they may not understand the specific rules of voting. Korea has 4 important rules to vote with democratically. Universal suffrage, equal suffrage, direct suffrage, and secret ballot. It means, everyone over 18 years old has right to vote, everyone who participate in vote have each 1 chance to vote, they have to do voting derectly, and they have to be in secret with who they voted for. There are some news that someone break these rules. Especially, young people does. But, even minors can vote, it will get worse.
Lastly, minors often don't have their own perspective of politics. So, they will probably vote for there parent's perspective, not their own perspective. It means, the political party that is supported by person who has many children will have benefits. So, it can't be a fair election.
In conclusion, I think minors shouldn't vote because they are not completely developed and they just follow their parent's political perspective.
