Imagine every language except one disappears tomorrow. How would you feel? There are roughly 7,000 new world. And in  every two weeks, one language disappears Surprisingly, English, Chinese, and Spanish are the most spoken languages. I think that if the world speaks only one language, it won't be a better place to live. The reasons are some people would feel lonely, many jobs would disappear, and travel will be no longer valuable. 

 To begin with, I think if everyone speaks one language it won't be a good place to live because some people would be left away. People who have spoke the language before with that power. Therefore, the people without authority would be isolated, and cannot participate in the politics. As a result, that can make people feel themselves like a plastic bag which is feeling isolated, lonely, useless, and helpless. In consequence, these feelings would make people depressed. 

 Next, many jobs were disappear. Jobs such as foreign language teachers, and interpreter with disappear because there won't be another language to teach or translate. People would have less opportunity to choose their jobs too. People who had the job related to foreign language would lose their job. Therefore, this may cause an increase in unemployment in the future. 

 Lastly, travel would be no more valuable. If we can't learn new language, we cannot learn about new culture as well. Without that, there would be no excitement of adapting new things. Also, we cannot understand another culture or history. This is adverse because there is a quote saying " history is the mirror reflecting our modern time" which means we have many things to learn in the history or adult or other culture. 

 In conclusion, I believe that speaking only one language would not make the world better. The reasons are some people might be discriminated, many jobs would vanish, and vacation to another place won't be interesting. Now, after reading this article, think about whether using only one language would be beneficial
