Octopus
Do you know which creature on earth is most similar to aliens? This fascinating creature has three hearts, blue blood, and nine brains. This weird shape-shifter can change color in less than a second and has a desire to learn using human-like intelligence. This yummy marine invertebrate is an octopus!
This alien-like animal has three hearts, blue blood, and nine brains. (one central brain and one in each tentacle.)This Marine carnivore eats six meals a day. Each tentacle can taste and make decisions without the central brain. Octopuses can regenerate their tentacle when one is cut off.
The octopuses have three layers in their skin which helps them change color in less than 1 second. Special cells help it change texture to become more like rocks, plants and even other animals.
These mysterious animals have an urge to learn. An octopus has roughly 500 million neurons. More than half are located in its arms, allowing each arm to process information and perform difficult movements somewhat independently. Octopuses can solve puzzles, open jars, navigate mazes, and learn by watching other animals do things.
Unlike most animals, many octopus species can make big changes to their ribonucleic acid (RNA) after it is produced. Scientists think this may help their nervous systems function in changing temperatures. Scientists don't know for sure, but, amazingly octopuses might dream like people because they twist and change color rapidly sometimes when they are sleeping.
In conclusion, octopuses are amazing animals with many unique abilities. They have three hearts, blue blood, and can change color very quickly. They are also very intelligent and can solve problems and learn new things. Because of these special features, octopuses are some of the most interesting and mysterious creatures in the ocean
