Oh Sang-uk

Oh is a talented sabre* fencer. At the Paris Summer Olympics,* he won gold medals in the individual men’s event and the team men’s event.

He is the first Korean male fencer to win two Olympic gold medals. He raised Korea’s reputation in fencing.

Edward Lee

Edward Lee is a Korean American* chef. Recently, he finished second on the cooking competition show, “Culinary Class War.”

Lee cooks different Korean dishes and uses ingredients creatively. He makes many people abroad become interested in Korean food.

Shin Yoo-bin

Shin Yu-bin is a table tennis player who also competed at the Paris Summer Olympics. She won bronze medals in mixed doubles and the team women’s event.

Shin is just 20 years old. Her performance shows the promise of Korea’s younger generation.
