Let’s find out about these tasty Korean festivals.

Gimbap Festival

The event was held at Hangang River Park in Seoul. It was organized by South Jeolla Province,* which is famous for seaweed.

At the festival, people tried various kinds of gimbap. There was also a gimbap-making contest for kids.

Mandu Festival

Wonju in Gangwon Province* hosted this festival. Part of it took place in the city’s restaurants and traditional markets.

Over 200 kinds of mandu were served at about 50 locations. Best of all, the price of one serving was 5,000 won or less.

Ramyeon Festival

This festival happened in Gumi, North Gyeongsang Province.* It was sponsored by a big food company.

The event included pop-up stores* and booths. People could also taste fried ramyeon, ramyeon taco, and other creations. Noodle dishes from other countries were offered, too.
