The supporters also say humanoid robots can be useful in many ways. They can provide services in place of human workers. They can even be companions to the sick and the elderly.

However, other people oppose having humanoid robots. These critics say that it will be confusing to interact with the robots. Some will mistake these machines as being alive. Then, they might even be tricked by the humanoid robots.

Furthermore, these critics say that humanoid robots could be used to do the work of humans. At first, this may seem convenient and even interesting. But soon, there may not be enough jobs for humans to do.
