Seouldal is a giant balloon filled with helium.* It is designed to look like Earth’s satellite. It lifts off into the sky from Yeouido Hangang Park next to the Han River.

The balloon stays in the air for about 15 minutes. It can carry up to 20 people, and they can take in a spectacular view of Seoul. They can see the National Assembly* building, as well as bridges and skyscrapers.

Seoul government officials say that Seouldal is quite safe. The balloon is filled with helium gas, which doesn’t catch fire. Also, a strong cable connects the balloon to the ground.

People can buy tickets to ride Seouldal for 15 minutes. They can enjoy the unique experience from noon to 10 p.m., six days a week.
