Underwater Hockey

This sport is similar to hockey, but it is played at the bottom of swimming pools. The players use a small stick to push a puck* and score. Surprisingly, underwater hockey leagues can be found in over 40 countries. There is even a big international tournament that takes place every two years.

Water Zorbing

For this activity, people get inside a clear plastic ball that floats on the water. They try to stand or run inside the big bubble as it moves around. People can try water zorbing for fun at various water parks. There are also races in which people compete in the inflated balls.

Dragon Boat Racing

For this race, crews of 16 or more people sit in pairs in a long boat. They paddle in unison while a drummer beats a small drum. Dragon Boat Racing originated in ancient China over 2,000 years ago. Now, it is a popular sport that helps to build teamwork.
