This season is meaningful because K League is celebrating its 40th anniversary. Its first season took place in 1983.

At first, it was named the Super League, and it was composed of only five teams. Over the years, it attracted more fans and added more teams. Then, in 1998, it was given its current name, K League.

Now, the domestic soccer league is made up of 25 soccer teams from different cities and provinces. They compete in two tiers: K League 1 and K League 2.

The 12 teams in the top-tier K League 1 will try to win the championship. Last season’s winner, Ulsan Hyundai FC, will attempt to defend its title.

Meanwhile, the 13 teams in the second-tier K League 2 will compete for a high ranking. At the end of the season, the two best teams will move up to the top tier.

So, K League games are very competitive and fun to watch. Fans are cheering for their favorite teams to do well in this anniversary year.

케이 리그는 한국의 프로 축구 리그이다. 가장 최근의 시즌은 2월에 시작했고 10월에 끝날 것이다.

이 시즌은 의미가 있는데 왜냐하면 케이 리그가 40주년을 기념하고 있기 때문이다. 그것의 첫 시즌은 1983년 개최되었다.

처음에, 그것은 슈퍼 리그로 이름 붙여졌고 겨우 5개 팀들로 구성되었다. 수년간, 그것은 더 많은 팬들을 끌어 모았고 더 많은 팀들을 추가했다. 그러다가 1998년에 케이 리그라는 그것의 현재의 이름이 주어졌다.
