  • After reading Anne of Green Gables

​ Did you ever heard of the book ​Anne of G​reen Gables​? It's a very touching classic, written by Lucy Maud Montgomery. Montgomery is a Canadian novelist , born in Prince Edward Island, which the novel takes place. Her life was similar to the main character Anne's one, and she (like Anne) lost her mother when she was only 21 months old. 

 This book starts with the Marilla sister and Matthew brother planning to adopt a boy. However, Mrs. Spencer, a women who was to deliver Marilla and Matthew the child , got the information wrong and brought a girl name Anne instead. The emotional and sensitive girl fells in love with the town of Avonlea, and accidents happen around her, which is lovable and also humorous. 

 What l really like about Anne is her crazy but varying glorious imaginations, which creates many problems. But , she is never too disappointed, always having positive energies within her, making readers laugh and cry. My favorite saying in the book is " l don't know what lies around the bend, but l am going to believe that the best does.". That's because its so dazzlingly charming, inviting a different world to you as you live and read.
