     When you go to Sonoran, Mojave, or Chihuahuan deserts in the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico, be careful! Because you might spot a Gila monster! But first what is a Gila monster? Well, a Gila monster is a deadly iguana type. When you are bitten by these iguanas don't worry about death. Because they are not poisonous. Then you can ask me why are they so deadly? That's a good question. IT is because of the pain that matters the most. These Gila monsters are called monsters for a reason. Let's learn deeper about them.

     Gila monster has very long and sharp teeth. When they bite you they will not let go for a long time. And when their sharp teeth go through your skin, it'll break into many pieces and it would get stuck inside of your skin. I know, it's very creepy to think about but it's true! So be careful. 

     Now, let's learn about bark scorpions. They are the deadliest scorpion in their family. They live in Arizona or New Mexico. IT is well known for its painful venom. It could attack you. But don't worry if you don't get too close then it will eventually go away. The scary part of this scorpion is that when a child that is under the age of 10 gets stung by these scorpions, they could get killed! Of course, even old people could get killed by these creatures. But they are really awesome once you get to know them.

     Plus, did you know that these scorpions can camouflage their selves in the ground? Well, the ground where they live is usually similar to yellow and brown, so they could look like that. But if you flash them with a special flashlight, then they glow! They could even have 20 offsprings! That is many for a scorpion.

     Lastly, there is the black widow spider! This is my favorite spiders of all. Well, I don't really like it in a good way but I like it because it is so awesome! Did you know that a widow spider's venom could get its venoms into people? For a normal spider even if it has venom it can't go through the human body. But they could. And a female widow spider could be the most dangerous. Sometimes when a child or an adult gets bitten by them their eyes get puffy and they could get their muscles cramping. 

     So remember if you are curious about them and when you spotted one don't get close! Alway's be careful. And don't get stung or bites out of them. Then see you later alligator. ​
